Tally keeps the books. Coal Boss runs the coal work before the books — purchases and auctions, yard stock and quality, trucks and weights, and who owes what. You can import your existing Excel or Tally exports; it is file import and export, not a live sync with Tally.
Can my staff use it — even people who are not comfortable with computers?
Each person only sees their own part, so the yard person learns yard entries and the accounts person learns billing. Screens are available in several Indian languages, and the team trains your people at go-live.
Does it work on the phone?
Yes, in the phone's browser — nothing to install, and you can add it to your home screen. There is no offline mode: it needs a connection. A separate mobile app is not available today and stays on the roadmap.
Is it available in Hindi and other languages?
The product screens are in English, Hindi (हिन्दी), Marathi (मराठी), Bengali (বাংলা) and Hinglish today. Odia, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada, Punjabi and Malayalam are being prepared.
Can we bring in our old data?
Yes. Existing Excel or Tally exports can be imported as files, so you do not start from zero. The team helps bring your masters and opening figures in.
What does it cost?
There are five plan levels — Standard, Professional, Growth, Enterprise and Corporate — sized by the scale of your business. We are setting prices with our first customers over the next few months, so there is no price list yet; the team tells you the plan and price that fit. The first month is a free trial.
